PLEASE NOTE: Students are encouraged to apply for the Abraham Scholarship beginning December 1, 2008. The applications process will be closed after July 31, 2009. Applicants must have a cummulative GPA of 3.2 or higher and demonstrate exceptional intellectual capability. Official college transcripts must be submitted along with your application. A letter of reccommendation from your campus rabbi or advisor is also required. Abraham Scholarship applications should be submitted during the candidates senior year of college, and are awarded the scholarship following graduation. In special cases, graduate students or recent collegte graduates are extended the opportunity to apply for an Abraham Scholarhip. Candidates for the Abraham Scholarship must be recommended to apply by either a local Hillel director, a local campus Rabbi, or a Rabbi in the community in which the candidate attended college. You must submit a copy of your most recent college transcripts as the final step in your application. Transcripts should be sent to tamar@abrahamscholars.org or mailed to us at the contact address on this website. nbsp; Scholarships arr awarded on a rolling admission basis, and applicants are generally notified within four to eight weeks following receipt of completed application and college transcripts.
